While the SSG was mostly added to Doom II to compensate for the bigger bestiary with larger amounts of hitpoints, it's definitely overpowered in classic Doom, but may have a fair justification in some of the rare D1 slaughter PWADs such as cannonball's "ConC.E.R.Ned". I know this has already been done before (and not just once), but I did not find any approach that totally convinced me, so I made my own version. This mod allows you to use the Super Shotgun from Doom II in (Ultimate) Doom.
